Residential Home
Our objective is to build a quality, fully licensed residential care home, split into 26 suites, 18 studios and 21 apartments. This can provide up to 112 permanent care places and will attract both local native residents, as well as targeting the affluent expatriate market that has seen large increases in the catchment area.
Market research indicates that there is a significant need for quality home health care and social services within this region. Currently, there are only four private residential homes in the surrounding area (within a radius of 30 km). There is tremendous room for growth in the current marketplace and, by constructing quality facilities it will quickly become a highly profitable business.
Consumers of the services will be those individuals and families in need of assisted residential care. These patients are primarily those in a position to choose their care requirements but can also be referred by local health care professionals such as physicians, lawyers, insurance companies and general health care facilities. We have already developed an excellent relationship with many of these professionals who see a definite requirement for additional care homes in the area.
Our goals include:
- The construction of a 65 bed licensed residential home by end of year 1.
- 100% occupancy by end of year 1 (in the current market, full occupancy can be expected at launch).
- An increase of 10% in gross margins within the third year of operation.
